ROUTE
This route showcases the full spectrum of Baja’s landscapes from mountain pine forests and dry lake beds to the beaches on both coasts, and everything in between. Along the way, we will visit several historic Spanish Missions, some beautifully preserved and others in evocative ruins, each with its own fascinating story.
Accommodations are carefully selected and represent the best available in each location. A highlight is San Ignacio, where guests stay in beautifully furnished yurts nestled in date palm groves along the river. In Loreto, we’ll enjoy the 4-star La Misión Hotel, located directly on the waterfront and just steps from the first Spanish Mission of Baja California, founded in 1697. The journey then continues to San Carlos on the Pacific Ocean, followed by vibrant La Paz, known for its unforgettable sunsets and exceptional cuisine. The adventure culminates with a spectacular final ride along the Pacific coast, where the ocean laps just beyond your tyres. We'll pause for lunch in Todos Santos at the iconic Hotel California before completing the last stretch into Cabo San Lucas for a celebratory finish.
This adventure is designed for intermediate riders with no medical complications, capable of covering at least 200 miles of typical desert terrain per day. The itinerary includes four days of riding, a rest day in historic Loreto at La Misión Hotel, and three additional riding days leading to Cabo San Lucas. While the riding is not extreme, it does include varied terrain such as rock gardens, sand washes, and whoops. The emphasis is on experiencing the beauty and diversity of Baja, equal parts riding adventure and cultural immersion.
Unlike some operators, our focus is not on exhausting riders but on creating an unforgettable journey filled with incredible scenery and memorable destinations. Should anyone wish to take a break from the trail, they are always welcome to join the support vehicles, relax with a cerveza, and soak in the charming highways and towns of Baja.
